The 2026 Chilgok Honey Beer Festival runs from July 11 (Saturday) to July 12 (Sunday) — two days at the Chilgok Peace Fountain area in Waegwan-eup, Chilgok County, North Gyeongsang Province. The location is 1350-29 Waegwan-ri, Waegwan-eup, Chilgok County.

🚆 Getting to Chilgok Waegwan
Chilgok is located in the central part of North Gyeongsang Province. It's close to Daegu, giving it good accessibility.
Train is the most convenient. The festival grounds at Chilgok Peace Fountain are close to Waegwan Station. Take the KTX from Seoul Station to Dongdaegu Station, then transfer to a Mugunghwa-ho train or intercity bus to Waegwan. Alternatively, you can take the Mugunghwa-ho directly to Waegwan Station from Seoul.
Driving takes about 3 to 3.5 hours from Seoul. It's close to the Waegwan IC on the Gyeongbu Expressway. From Daegu, it's about 30-40 minutes.
Since Chilgok is close to Daegu, using Daegu as a base camp is a great option. Combining it with a Daegu trip makes for an even richer journey.
