📅 Essential Information
The 2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival runs from July 31 (Friday) to August 2 (Sunday) — three days at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Incheon. Operating hours are from 11AM to 10PM daily.
Starting this year, organizers have adjusted the on-site schedule. Gates open at 1PM, main stage performances begin at 2PM, and headliner performances are scheduled around 10PM. Until last year the venue opened in the morning, but considering summer heat waves, they've shifted to an afternoon-focused program — keep this in mind when planning your schedule.
Admission is for ages 7 and up. Preschool children must wear a wristband issued on-site when accompanied by a guardian. Note that the area in front of the main stage has high sound output, so if you're with children, the rear buffer zone is recommended. The official website is pentaport.co.kr.

The 3-day early bird pass was around 204,000 won (15% discount), and 192,000 won (20% discount) when paying with KB Kookmin Card. The 1-day pass opened separately after the second lineup announcement.
Tickets can be booked through NOL Ticket, YES24, KB Pay, and N-Ticket. N-Ticket notably offers a 30% discount Incheon 1-day pass. Pentaport tickets frequently sell out the moment they open, so if you want to go, check the booking schedule in advance and log in right at open time.
The "blind tickets" (sold before the lineup announcement) sold out in just 10 minutes, showing just how popular this festival is — so you'll need to move fast when ticketing!
🚇 Getting to Songdo
Songdo Moonlight Festival Park, where Pentaport takes place, is relatively accessible from the greater Seoul area.
Subway is the most convenient option. From Incheon Subway Line 1 Technopark Station, take the temporary shuttle bus to reach the venue. From Seoul, transfer to the Incheon-bound subway lines. Shuttle buses operate during the festival, so check the official website for shuttle information.
Driving is possible, but even though official parking is available, congestion is expected on weekends. Public transport is the less stressful choice if possible.
From Seoul to Songdo takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Being within day-trip distance from the greater Seoul area means you can enjoy Pentaport without booking accommodation — a major advantage of this festival.
🏨 Accommodation
While a day trip is possible, if you've got a 3-day pass or you're coming from far away, booking accommodation near Songdo is convenient.
Songdo International City hotels offer many clean, modern options. Being close to the venue makes them great for resting tired bodies. Incheon city center accommodations are a more budget-friendly choice.
Songdo is a planned city — clean and well-equipped with conveniences. Attractions like Central Park and Triple Street are also nearby, making them great to explore before or after the festival.
Since the festival runs until 10PM, those coming from far away should book accommodation for safety — you can enjoy the show to the very end without worrying about the last train.
🎒 What to Bring & Tips
Rock festivals require different preparation than regular festivals. Here's the wisdom of experienced festival-goers.
Comfortable shoes are most important. Since you'll be standing, jumping, and dancing all day, cushioned sneakers are essential. Never wear new shoes! Pentaport gets rain often enough to be called the "Mud Festival," so preparing shoes you don't mind getting wet, or even rain boots, is a smart move.
Always bring a rain poncho. As a summer outdoor festival, sudden showers are common. Umbrellas are dangerous to those around you, so ponchos are the unwritten rule. Many say a rainy Pentaport is even more fun!
A picnic mat and folding chair make resting between performances comfortable. Claiming a spot on the grass and relaxing while listening to music is one of the festival's great joys.
A portable battery, waterproof pouch, and earplugs are also useful. Spending long periods near speakers can strain your ears, so earplugs help.
